RWTH International Academy Scholarship

The RWTH International Academy offers an exclusive scholarship for the students enrolled in the programmes Automotive Engineering, Combustion Engines, Production Systems Engineering and Computer Aided Conception and Production of Mech. Engg.

In the third and fourth semester the student with the highest grades of each course, will be granted a significant reduction of the tuition fee and will be charged only 500 € instead of 3,700 € for the corresponding semester.

We highly recommend you to start with your scholarship research  as soon as possible, the latest at the same time as you send your application documents (Deadline March 1st). Here are some institutions you may contact regarding the same.

The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) offers on its website a scholarship database with a broad variety of scholarship programmes for international students. Please refer to the DAAD Website to find more information about these scholarship programmes.

Students from Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Rumania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic or Hungary may also apply for a “Mummert” Scholarship. Please refer to the website to find all relevant information Mummert Website

Students from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe can be admitted to a scholarship programme of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Please check the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Website to see, if you meet the requirements.

Colombian students can apply for a loan / scholarship at Colfuturo. It consists of studies financing where a half is loaned and the other half donated by this institution. More information regarding this financing possibility can be found on the website: Colfuturo
